Making decisions is hard enough on your own, but when in a group it can be tough to satisfy everyone. Redditor benk4 suggests a narrowing strategy, which will get you to decision much faster:
My girlfriend and I use this trick when neither of us wants to make a group decision. I'm sure you know those annoying situations where neither of you wants to pick where you go to dinner so you sit around and don't go.
Person 1: Pick 5 options
Person 2: Narrow 5 options down to 3
Person 1: Narrow 3 options down to 2
Person 2: Select from the 2 options
It's quick and makes both people get input. You can also use it in larger groups, the numbers just need tweaking.
Everyone may not always get what they want, but this process is fair and won't waste a ton of your time.
